SLC Driven – Terms and Conditions (Effective Date: January 29, 2024)

Welcome to SLC Driven! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our chauffeur services in London and surrounding areas. Please read these Terms carefully before booking a ride or using any of our services. By booking a ride or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Booking and Reservations:

• Bookings can be made online, by phone, or through our mobile app.
• Reservations require valid payment information and are subject to availability.
• We reserve the right to cancel or modify bookings due to unforeseen circumstances or vehicle/driver unavailability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you if any changes are necessary.
• Minimum booking times may apply for certain services or locations.

2. Fares and Payment:

• Fares are calculated based on distance, time, vehicle type, and any additional services requested.
• Fares are quoted in GBP and displayed at the time of booking.
• We accept major credit cards and debit cards through our secure payment system.
• Additional fees may apply for tolls, parking, waiting times, and other incidental charges. You will be notified of any additional charges before they are incurred.

3. Conduct and Prohibited Activities:

• Passengers must conduct themselves in a respectful and orderly manner at all times.
• Smoking, vaping, and excessive alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited in our vehicles.
• Eating and drinking are permitted at passengers’ discretion, but please be mindful of cleanliness and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Damage to vehicles will be charged to the passenger responsible.
  Illegal activities and transportation of illegal goods are strictly prohibited.
• SLC Driven reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a ride if any of these terms are violated.

4. Cancellations and Changes:

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will incur no charge.
  Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking time will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the booked fare.
• Changes to booking details may be subject to availability and additional fees.

5. Liability and Insurance:

• SLC Driven is fully insured for passenger liability and third-party property damage as required by UK law.
• Passengers are responsible for their own personal belongings and any personal injury sustained during the ride, unless directly caused by the negligence of SLC Driven or its drivers.
• SLC Driven shall not be liable for any delays, missed connections, or consequential losses arising from unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

6. Privacy Policy:

• SLC Driven respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and disclose your data.

7. Modifications and Updates:

• SLC Driven reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. The latest version of the Terms will be posted on our website and mobile app. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:

• These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
• Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
